Strange... It's total Techno (and sounds like some Rock might be in there), yet it sounds just like the original.
You don't see those too often anymore. Great job!

Definitely the best Heavy Metal song I've listened to in quite a while. Great job!

OK, I don't have ANY Metal Gear games, so this song doesn't sound familiar to me at all, but I do feel that you captured the NES feel of the song perfectly.
P.S. Can you make a remix of Metal Gear Solid's (might be from that game) "Encounter" theme? I heard it in Brawl and loved it immediately.

This song sounds vaguely familiar, even though I've never played that game nor heard this song before.

If I could make a suggestion, make it hardcore a little bit sooner.
P.S. I know that level

"It DOES seem like a fighting scene..."
I love it! It sounds like a hidden event song in an RPG. (although I can't think of the name, maybe Tales of Symphonia?)

"A high-tech classic, mixed in a classic way!"
A high-tech classic, mixed in a classic way! I love it!
Liked how you played it, too. Not so sure if it's exact, though, but since I don't have Sonic Mega Collection by my side at the moment and you probably wanted it to be different anyway, it's probably not exact.
Anyway, nice mix! I think Chemical Plant Zone is the best video game song ever! (Well, one of the best ones out there, at least!)

"I like it, but it could use some improvement."
I like it, but it could use some improvement. For one, it doesn't really sound like a Trance song; it sounds more like a slow Techno-Trance mix. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it sounds sort of slow for a Trance song. If you want to make well-liked and well-known Trance songs, I highly recommend listening to some of Envy's more liked and well-known Trance songs for some inspiration.
But on the other hand, I like the fact that it's an "Original Mix" (a.k.a. the longer version of the song) and the elements of the song altogether.
But anyway, good song overall. Try hard and keep up the good work!
Author's Response:
Envy makes Dance music not Trance. If you want to hear real trance Youtube Above & Beyond, or Tiesto. Airbase is another good one to look for too. Check those out and you can see what my view of Trance is.

"Best Classical Rock song I've heard so far!"
Best Classical Rock song I've heard so far!
Keep up the good work!
P.S. Somehow, this song reminds me of The G.U.N. Base theme song in Shadow The Hedgehog. (Yes, I know, most of the songs in that game are Metal or Hard Rock, but not in that stage!)
Author's Response:
Thanks for the praise!
We might have another piece up here in a week or so.
